| The Bladen
County Partnership for Children is a non-profit public/private
organization designed to provide programs
and services for children ages 0-5 and
their families in Bladen County, North Carolina. Our programs and services
provide children under six, access to
high quality and affordable childcare,
health care and other critical family
services. Smart
Start, the initiative that created all
local partnerships in North Carolina, was
launched in 1993 by Governor Jim Hunt and
is the only program of its kind because
it is a comprehensive approach to
preparing children for school. Local
Partnerships, such as ours, determine
programs and services that best meet
local needs. the North Carolina
Partnership for Children is the umbrella
non-profit organization, which sets
guidelines as well as provides oversight
and technical assistance to local
partnerships across the state.
The Bladen
County Partnership for Children...

funds from the state legislature to
support programs to benefit children age
0-5 and their families.
